South of England Branch

St George's Day Lunch

Saturday 21st April 2007

El Alamein room at the Victory Services Club, Seymour Street, London W2, close by the Marble Arch underground station (Central Line) at 11:30 for 12:00.

A message from Michael Morgan.

We have just come through a very turbulent period for our Regiment and therefore this years St George’s Day Lunch is a doubly important celebration of our Regiment to all members past and present.

It will take place on Saturday 21st April 2007 in the El Alamein room at the Victory Services Club, Seymour Street, London W2, close by the Marble Arch underground station (Central Line) at 11:30 for 12:00.

I think it would be an excellent idea for as many ex Battalion members as possible from the South of England attend the AGM and of course the lunch afterward. An ideal opportunity to talk about things past and renew old friendships.

The cost for this year’s lunch will be £25.00p per head, partners and guests.

If you could make your cheques payable to: The South of England Branch, The King’s Own Royal Border Regimental Association, and send to Anne-Marie Costigan, “Le Bivouac” Blenheim Close, Wallington, Surrey SM 6 9PT

It would be wonderful if you could make it, we would love to see you there.

I have also attached the Spring edition of the Branch newsletter. I look forward to seeing you again on the 21st.

With best wishes

Michael
