The Assault Glider Trust
A UK project to record the use of Gliders in warfare. Photos and information about several regiments but nothing obvious about the forebears of KORBR. However, plenty of photos of gliders and well worth a visit.

These guys are based at RAF Shawbury and it looks very much like they have built a Hawser Glider from scratch.

Royal Air Force Shawbury is situated in North Shropshire, 55 miles northwest of Birmingham. The nearest large towns are Shrewsbury, 6 miles to the south-south-west, and Telford, 12 miles to the south-east.

Operation Freshman
A detailed account of Operation Freshman was an operation mounted during the night of 19/20 November 1942, using gliders and Royal Engineer commandos. The purpose of the raid was to destroy a heavy water plant at Rjukan in Norway.
